On 28 February, the event "Dialogues on the Future: AI Regulation" will take place, organised by CNED - National Council of Law Students and the AADUCP - Academic Law Association of the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon. Paulo de Almeida Sande, partner at Cruz Vilaça Advogados and Invited Professor at the Institute for Political Studies of the Catholic University, and Luís Barreto Xavier, Of Counsel at Abreu Advogados and Invited Professor at the Catholic University, are the guest speakers.
The European Union's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Regulation is the first ever law on artificial intelligence, a regulatory framework that aims to ensure that AI systems are safe, comply with legislation and respect the Union's fundamental rights and values.
